Crock Pot Broccoli Cheese Bake Notes

  • We adapted this oven recipe to make it a low carb crock pot recipe. We use Carbquick instead of the Jiffy Corn Bread Mix to make the dish low carb. You can use whichever you prefer.
  • If you are looking for more low carb recipes, you canfind them here.
  • We have made this recipe in a traditional 6 quart slow cooker and our Ninja Multicooker. We have not tested it in the casserole crock, but since this casserole does NOT have to rise a lot in the middle, my guess is it should cook up okay. You may have to double this recipe for the casserole crock. Once I am able to test it in my casserole crock, I will update this post.
  • Check outour favorite Slow Cookers, Pressure Cookers, Multi-Cookers and Air Fryersin our Amazon Influencer Shop.
  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
  • Cooking time could vary GREATLY with this recipe. It is not a fix it and forget it recipe. You will need to watch it the first time you make it. But it will be worth it– promise! All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and shouldalways be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

So I made a booboo making this but it still turned out pretty tasty. I thought I had a bag of frozen broccoli. Turns out it was frozen diced bell peppers. I didn’t figure it out until I had dumped it in the bowl. I popped all the peppers that hadn’t touched any other ingredients back in the bag. I went back to the freezer and not one bag of broccoli. To save it, I added a drained can of whole kernel corn and called it a cornbread casserole. Still tasted good
